Creating spaces for movement, breath, connection and seasonal living.
Meet Me
Yoga first came into my life during a time of change. What began as a personal practice gradually became a way of listening more closely to my body, slowing things down and finding a steadier way of moving through life.
Over time, that practice has grown into something much wider.
Today, my work brings together yoga, aerial yoga, breathwork, seasonal living, nature and gathering — all rooted in a curiosity about how we can live with a little more connection to ourselves, each other and the world around us.
Living in Scotland has shaped so much of this. I'm endlessly inspired by the changing landscape, the plants that grow around us, the shifting light and the rhythm of the seasons. I'm increasingly interested in what happens when we stop expecting ourselves to feel and move the same way all year round, and instead begin to notice the season we're actually in.
You'll find this woven through my classes, retreats, gatherings and teacher trainings, as well as the seasonal practices and creative projects I'm beginning to make and share.
Whether we're moving, breathing, resting, learning or sitting together around a fire, I want the spaces I create to feel warm, thoughtful and human — places where you can slow down, make connections, try something new and, most importantly, be yourself.
Alongside my own work, I support wellbeing organisations, studios, woodland spaces and community projects across Scotland, bringing together my background in people, operations and wellbeing.
I'm not particularly interested in doing any of this perfectly.
I'm interested in paying attention, staying curious, creating things that feel meaningful and sharing what I learn along the way.
Thank you for being here. 🌿

Her passion for supporting both physical and mental wellbeing through yoga was inspiring, and her ability to build trusted relationships made her a valued member of the team. Aerial Yoga Teacher Training
An immersive and thoughtfully held training experience rooted in movement, breath, embodiment, and connection.
Designed for yoga teachers and dedicated practitioners wishing to deepen their practice and confidently guide aerial yoga in a safe and supportive way.
Held in the Scottish countryside at Soulshine Yoga Studio, Biggar.
Root & Gather
Seasonal gatherings and retreats designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and return to yourself through movement, rest, ritual, nature, and community.
Co-created by Emma and Gillian, Root & Gather blends nervous system support, seasonal living, breathwork, meditation, and embodied practices within thoughtfully held spaces inspired by the rhythms of nature.
“I love these gatherings, so special. Sharing and connection with others. You never know quite what to expect, but you do know you will come away feeling a greater sense of peace and hopefulness, a slightly different version of yourself has been awakened.”

Love Woodland Reset
Held in the beautiful surroundings of LOVE Woodland near Lochwinnoch, each 2 hour gathering is thoughtfully woven together using gentle yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound, seasonal themes and quiet moments of reflection. Afterwards, you're invited to stay for a cup of tea around the fire and enjoy the simple pleasure of being with the trees.
No two gatherings will be exactly the same. Throughout the year I'll also be inviting guest facilitators to share their own crafts, skills and wisdom—from sound baths and journalling to creative workshops inspired by nature.
Whether you arrive feeling busy, overwhelmed or in need of some space, The Woodland Reset offers an opportunity to slow down, breathe deeply and enjoy the simple things.
Breathwork
The way we breathe can change the way we feel.
I work with conscious connected breath, music and the body to create experiences that can be powerful, quiet, surprising — and sometimes difficult to put into words.
Some sessions also weave in cacao, journalling, movement and sound.
You don't need to know how to breathe properly.
You just need to be willing to breathe a little differently.
Weekly Classes
Regular spaces to breathe, move, soften, and reconnect.
Through aerial yoga, yin yoga, qigong, breathwork, and seasonal movement practices, these classes are designed to support balance, embodiment, rest, and nervous system wellbeing within a warm and welcoming environment.
My first class with Gillian was perfect. I instantly felt welcome and part of the group. The class content was a great combination of Yoga styles which flowed wonderfully. The class really allowed me to switch the outside off and be in my body (which is rare for me). I’ll be back next week! ☺️

Soulshine Yoga Studio, Biggar
I am so lucky to have stumbled upon this beautiful old converted barn. Louisa the owner is such a bright and kind human who was open to me hanging up my silks as a trial. 2.5 years later I am still there, with this great community and I really look forward to facilitating my Monthly workshops and sound experiences here. My Aerial yoga Teacher Training is also at this studio.
You can also request a private experience via email.
