Meet Gillian
Yoga first came into my life during a time of change. I was holding tension, anxiety and overstimulation without fully realising how much my body was carrying. What began as a personal practice slowly became a way of softening, listening more deeply and returning to myself with greater care.
Over time, I began to understand that the way we breathe, move, rest and respond to life can shape how connected we feel — to ourselves, to our bodies, to each other and to the world around us.
The practices became less about doing and more about paying attention. Returning to rhythm. Finding centre. Creating space for more presence, curiosity and connection in everyday life.
Today, my work weaves together yoga, aerial yoga, breathwork, seasonal living, nature and gathering. Increasingly, I'm interested in how these practices can help us live a little more in rhythm with ourselves and with the seasons around us.
Living in Scotland has shaped so much of this. The changing light, landscapes, plants and rhythms of nature continually remind me that we aren't separate from the natural world — our bodies move through seasons too.
You'll find this thread running through my movement and breathwork practices, retreats, workshops, gatherings and teacher training, as well as the seasonal and creative projects I'm beginning to make and share.
Whether we're moving, breathing, resting, learning or simply sitting together, my intention is to create warm, thoughtfully held spaces where people can slow down, reconnect, make new connections, try something different and arrive exactly as they are.
Alongside over 800 hours of training in yoga, aerial yoga, trauma-informed practice, sound and breathwork, I bring more than 20 years of experience in leadership, wellbeing and relationship-based work within the health and wellness industry.
Outside of teaching, I'm endlessly curious. I'm inspired by seasonal shifts, flowers and plants, foraging, cooking, textiles, writing, making things with my hands and the small everyday rituals that connect us to place.
A lot of what I'm creating at the moment is growing from that curiosity — and I'm enjoying seeing where it leads.
Thank you for being here. 🌿
